Professional Dog and Cat Grooming
Mon Cheri offers professional grooming services for both dogs and cats.
Dogs
Dog grooming services include a bath, blowdry, nail trim, and brushing / haircut as applicable. Additional services such as specialty shampoo, teeth brushing, and express services may be available depending on your pet's needs. The entire process takes about three hours.
Puppies encountering the grooming shop for the first time are treated to a reduced stress introductory groom, which substitutes cage drying for blow drying and limits trimming to only the eyes, feet, and sanitary areas. This familiarizes them with the shop and the process without overwhelming them. Most puppies are ready for full grooming services their second visit.
Prices are determined based on the dog's size, temperament, and coat condition. Exact price quotes cannot be given over the phone.
Cats
Cat grooming is handled a little differently due to their different needs.
Cats are groomed at the end of the day when the shop is quieter and the distractions are minimal. The pet owner stays and helps position the kitty and provide comfort, as cats are often more nervous than dogs when away from their home environment.
Grooming includes a lion cut and nail trim as applicable.
Appointment Reservation Policy
First time and inactive grooming clients are required to pay a reservation fee to secure an appointment. Reservation fees are $25 per cat or small dog and $50 per large dog and are credited toward the grooming services when you arrive for your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us by the cancellation deadline provided when you book. Changes made after that deadline may result in forfeiture of the reservation fee.
